Incauca Soccer Schools

Incauca’s Soccer Schools began in 2004 as a social project aimed at connecting Incauca with neighboring communities and engaging children to make better use of their free time. Participation is free and currently benefits 956 children and youth between the ages of 5 and 17 across 9 locations. Through this initiative, children and youth can make better use of their free time, helping to prevent alcohol or other substance use.

Incauca Soccer Club

Since 2021, at Incauca Soccer Club we have been training competitive athletes for elite soccer, selected from the most talented members of Incauca’s Soccer Schools, and it has become one of Atlético Nacional’s youth divisions in the departments of Valle del Cauca and Cauca.

It currently consists of 200 children between the ages of 5 and 17, divided into 7 categories: U-11, U-12, U-13, U-14, U-15, U-15 female, U-16, and U-17.
To date, 42 of our players have advanced to professional soccer at the national and international levels.

Incauca Women’s Soccer Club

We support the development of women’s soccer at Incauca, using socio-emotional strategies that contribute to the training and life projects of 30 girls and adolescents from municipalities within Incauca’s area of influence, such as Jamundí, Villa Rica, Guachené, Miranda, Corinto, Padilla, Puerto Tejada, and Florida.

The team has a high-level coach, a professional soccer player with over 15 years of experience, recognized in the Valle selection and Colombia’s preliminary national team. She holds a degree in foreign languages and is an English teacher, currently training in sports technology.
In March 2024, the official launch and presentation of the Club’s female elite category took place. This new sports team focuses on regional talent and seeks to create development opportunities for girls and young women.
Purpose: To contribute to building life projects for girls through soccer. To promote comprehensive development, highlighting women’s soccer as an opportunity to break barriers and claim new spaces.
Given the socioeconomic and cultural context of Incauca’s area of influence, initiatives are needed that invest in girls and women to close equity gaps and provide better life opportunities.
This project will allow the sports component to be complemented with strategies that support the training and discipline of the girls.
